Welcome

Today physiotherapy is a most convenient way of keeping all of your muscles and limbs equally fit and moving. Now the rat race we are in is nothing but a tough test to our concentration, strength and stamina.Highslide JS

So the way we are running to get everything done in time takes toll on our health. And of-course, the work culture has changed a lot than it used to be in quite a decade or two ago.

Most of the work is now handled automatically, therefore the human labour is least spent. We find ourselves working hours after hours just sitting on a chair or it is so tough and labourious that we feel tired of completing these.

Just by the time when the physiotherapy got popular, generaly patients or people in need of the therapy used to go to the clinics.

But the situation has become worse today. Maximum people are in need of the therapy. That is why today in offices, schools, industrial workplaces or other occupational environments, fitness centers and sports training facilities have been sought after and have been made available.

What is physiotherapy?

Physical therapy is nothing but a health care profession. It serves or in other words, works to maintain and restore maximum possible movement and functional ability in human limbs and muscles.;

Sometimes there come circumstances when movement and function of some limbs and muscels are threatened by aging, injury, disease or environmental factors.

Physiotherapy identifies and maximizes quality of life and movement that is possible through encouragement, anticipation, treatment/intervention or as a whole with therapy.

Physiotherapy not only ensures physical but also psychological, emotional, and social well being.

This is the single kind of therapy which builds a chain of interaction between physical therapist, other health professionals, families, care-givers, and communities with the patients/clients.

In this therapy the potential movement is assessed and hardly completes without the above chain. The ultimate goals are agreed upon and the role of the physiotherapist is certainly vital, of using knowledge and skills unique and exact to the requirement of the patients.

In short we can say that Physiotherapy is a well-organized treatment with a targeted physical care. It helps a person to recover fully to his or her natural mobility. The treatment includes assesment, management and restoration of the physical function and performance of the body through a progressive plan.

The mantra or the key words of physiotherapy are Mobility, Stability and Function.

The question may be what does the Physiotherapy consist of?

To answer precisely- it involves mobilization techniques, strengthening programmes, stretching, coordination, re-education, gait training and functional activities.

Physiotherapy aims at mobility, independence and physical fitness. In these cases Physiotherapy helps a lot. A physiotherapist helps in moving people of all ages, from infants to elderly.
