In 1992, a small unit namely "HEALTHCURE PHYSIOTHERAPY CLINIC" had been established at UTTARPARA in HOOGHLY, WEST BENGAL to serve the need of ailing population in and around. Gradually we got success in healing a greater section of the suffering people who got back their functional ability or natural mobility as it may be called with physiotherapy treatment. The Doctors recognized the small clinic and got more confidence in referring the patients who badly needed therapy of different types.

In the year 1999," HEALTHCURE PHYSIOTHERAPY CLINIC" got the privilege of opening its second unit at Belur, in district Howrah, adjacent to the Divine" BELUR MATH" established by Swami Vivekananda. The people of the adjoining area, mostly of low profile, could get the chance of experiencing modern Physiotherapy. This clinic received a warm welcome from the local inhabitants and a blessing of the "SWAMIJI's of the 'MATH'.

But in 2007 the dream came true; when the "Physiotherapy Research Institute & Hospital" opened its doors to all for the next-generation therapy of all types.

This is not just a clinic or hospital. It may better be called a "REHABILITATION CENTRE" for the ailing mass.

A message from the Director

Though physiotherapy is not familiar with the greater section of our society, particularly to those residing at distant outskirts of the city and in remote villages, we are trying our best to reach to these underprivileged section to enable them feel good when fitness ( total ) is concerned.

Our motto is unidirectional. It is always concerned about the quality of life of our countrymen.
